Aluminum titanium 5% boron 1% is a solid metal rod that can be cut into metal rods or coils for use in aluminum alloy foundries or ingot foundries to assist in aluminum alloy nucleation and grain refinement. AlTiB must be added to the liquid aluminum alloy within the temperature range of 680 to 780 ¡æ. Alloy degassing will contribute to the distribution of titanium and boron, which act as crystal nuclei and can form a uniform metal microstructure.
