Introducing strontium into the 7-13% eutectic alloy aluminum silicon (Al Si) composition can produce a modification effect. Adding pre weighted rods to liquid aluminum alloys to modify and induce the structure of primary silicon, transforming the silicon morphology from sheet-like to uniformly spherical.
