The Elidron 199 is capable of releasing nitrogen gas and can be used for washing and degassing of molten alloys. Nitrogen can effectively remove hydrogen captured by metals during melting operations and elevate all oxides, micro oxides, and impurities to the surface of the solution. These oxides suspended in liquid solution are surrounded by hydrogen gas, and only by removing the oxides can it help eliminate the hydrogen gas. Elidron 199 exhibits a physical chemical combination effect. Elidron 199 is recommended for degassing all types of aluminum alloys in furnaces and ladles. This product is not suitable for aluminum magnesium alloys with magnesium content higher than 3%.
