Alsiblock 3/500g sheet agent is a modified flux that releases sodium into the melt, allowing eutectic aluminum silicon (6-13%) alloys to maintain a modified state for a longer period of time in sand and gravity die cast alloys. The product should not be submerged, but should be left on the slag free surface of the melt in the crucible or reflective insulation furnace.
