Napal 900 is a sheet-like flux that is preheated at 200 ¡æ and immersed in liquid aluminum silicon alloy to add the required amount of sodium for modification. Sodium induces free radical changes in the solidified structure, causing the disappearance of block crystals of primary silicon and the modification of needle shaped eutectic into circular particles, which are appropriately dispersed in the "alpha" solid structure. The appearance of small and fine dendritic cells confirms the results, namely the improvement in mechanical properties, especially elongation values. This product is easy to use and safe for operators.
