Magclear 333 is a powdery flux containing a special compound that reacts and reduces magnesium present in molten aluminum alloys. To achieve consistent results, the percentage of magnesium should be below 0.50%. When introduced or injected into a metal, the product reacts with magnesium to reduce the element to the desired value. Magclear 333 still has activity and can remove hydrogen and oxide impurities contained in molten metal.
