Crystal X-10 is a granular flux suitable for processing aluminum alloys containing interfering elements such as calcium and sodium. High magnesium aluminum alloys, such as the 5000 and 7000 series, may have a higher calcium content, which can reduce castability and uniformity of the alloy structure. Due to the degree of calcium content in silicon metal, eutectic and hypereutectoid aluminum silicon alloys may also carry these impurities. In aluminum silicon eutectic alloys, calcium as an impurity can affect the results of modification treatment with sodium flux or metallic sodium, and also have a negative impact on gas absorption in liquid metal. The elimination mechanism of Crystal X-10 is based on the reaction of magnesium with calcium and sodium, both of which dissolve in molten aluminum. The product of this reaction is insoluble in molten metal and has a low specific gravity. The by-products generated by the reaction are prone to float on the surface of the liquid metal and can be removed from the slag. Packaging and Storage 25kg polyethylene laminated moisture-proof paper bag packaging, bottom heat sealed. Warning This product is hygroscopic: store in a dry place and seal after each use. If the product is stored in a dry place away from sunlight, it will not expire.
