Metalcote 77/1 is a special semi insulating product recommended for coating molds for low-voltage and gravity die-casting permanent molds. Metalcote 77/1 contains fine material components that can maintain the thermal conductivity value of the final surface finish in contact with liquid metal unchanged. Foundry factories commonly use Metalcote 77/1 in the production of car or bicycle wheels and other components. Metalcote 77/1 can be used as an insulation coating for steel molds in contact with molten aluminum alloys.

This product is susceptible to frost: please store at a temperature above 5 ℃ and close the bucket after use. During storage, some products containing mineral components may be prone to precipitation. Due to the specific density of minerals, this phenomenon is absolutely normal. Before use, be sure to mix the product carefully. If stored properly, the shelf life of the product can exceed 12 months.
