Metalcote 4516 is an insulating dressing with a surface finish of "medium fine", which can be used for molds in aluminum alloy gravity casting processes. Metalcote 4516 is suitable for producing small and medium-sized castings. This product has strong adhesion and is widely used in large-scale production. It helps with directional solidification, slows down the cooling effect of the metal inside the mold, and reduces the formation of micro shrinkage cavities. Used for castings of engine components, as well as motorcycle cylinder heads, diesel engine pistons, and gasoline engine pistons.

During storage, some products containing mineral components may be prone to precipitation. Due to the specific density of minerals, this phenomenon is absolutely normal.
