NEWCOTE 2400 is a release agent composed of insulating inorganic compounds, water, binders, and additives. This release agent is suitable for gravity die casting aluminum foundries. The best practice is to use the release agent in the coating mold cavity when the liquid aluminum poured into the mold begins to solidify. Suggested for pouring all aluminum alloys into gravity molds with regular geometric shapes and casting models. Due to its insulation properties, this demoulding agent is particularly suitable for pouring risers to delay solidification time and prolong the pouring effect. The presence of sodium or strontium modifiers in the alloy does not affect the strength of the coating.

During storage, some products containing mineral components may be prone to precipitation. Due to the specific density of minerals, this phenomenon is absolutely normal. Before use, be sure to mix the product carefully. If stored properly, the shelf life of the product can exceed 12 months.
