Metalcote 219 is used for high-temperature special lubricating grease, activated by high-purity micro powder graphite. Metalcote 219 is widely used on forging blanks for aluminum extrusion machines and on hot brass stamping. It is recommended to apply Metalcote 219 with a cotton swab or brush for lubricating injection plungers, die-casting reservoirs, cylinders, top rods, and other components. The use of Metalcote 219 reduces friction and shear forces. The product minimizes problems encountered at high temperatures, such as fraying and wear.
